Sport Psychology Consulting Fees

My fee is $110 for a 1-hour session, and $55 for a half-hour. There is a half-hour minimum for sessions held in my offices or by phone, and a one-hour minimum for in-person sessions held more than 30 minutes away from my closest office.

If my fee is not affordable for you at the moment, I have a limited number of openings for sliding-scale clients -- please call or email to inquire about availability and your sliding-scale fee. The sliding-scale fee is based on household income and ability to pay. We'll estabish your fee before the first session begins.

I ask for payment (by check or cash) at each session.

Although I'm a licensed psychotherapist, sport psychology consulting is not psychotherapy, and is thus not reimbursable by insurance companies as psychotherapy. If your insurance plan may reimburse you for my sport psychology services, I'm happy to provide a statement for you to file with your claim, or speak to your insurance company whenever you wish.

I don't charge for travel when I drive 30 minutes or less to work with you, your coaches, or your team. If I drive or fly further than that, we'll need to agree on a plan for reimbursing my travel expenses.

I never want to see finances get in the way of my work with a client. If you begin working with me, and you have a financial hardship that arises, I'll do everything I can to work something out with you so the work can continue.
